AGR has secured contract to deliver field development support in Sudan for Nigerian explorer Misana Energy Resources (Misana). Misana is part of a consortium that was recently awarded a PSC for blocks 25 D & E in the White Nile Province in southern Sudan.
AGR’s technical support will cover all disciplines from asset evaluation to full field development and exploration services.
The scope will be carried out by AGR’s Facilities Solutions division with support from AGR’s drilling engineering and subsurface consultancies. With the agreement AGR secures its position as a long term technical partner for Misana’s further field development projects in the region.
Inge Holm, VP of AGR Facilities Solutions (pictured), said: “This is an exciting and very important prospect for us. The blocks are estimated to contain a significant amount of reserves and will provide a good return to consortium shareholders. We are looking forward to working closely with Misana Energy Resources to see this project come into fruition.”
