Libya’s Al Sharara oilfield stopped production after a militant group seized control of the field, according to a Bloomberg report. The field has been on and off again since its official restart earlier this year after being shut in by the civil war and protesters.
According to local media reports, NOC is in the midst of negotiating with the group of protesters in order to restore the 235,000 bpd the field was producing.
