At a meeting of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) in Moscow, the oil ministers from Algeria and Iran agreed to expand cooperation in the petroleum sector.
“We have had a number bilateral meetings, including a meeting with the Algerian oil minister, during which we laid emphasis on bolstering cooperation and struck a number of agreements to expand cooperation,” Iranian Oil Minister Rostam Qassemi said.
Algeria, Bolivia, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Iran, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela are the eleven members that make up the GECF.
