Algeria and Iranian Company to Cooperate

Algeria and Iran are expanding cooperation based on a recent visit paid on Iran’s MAPNA by Algeria’s ambassador to Tehran, Ahriz Abdelmoun’aam. The visit is aimed at finding out more about Iran’s capabilities in energy.

Abbas Aliabadi, MAPNA MD, met with the ambassador during his visit, which was made official with an invitation to boost cooperation with Algeria in power plant, oil and gas, and railroad industries.

During his visit to MAPNA Ahriz received a comprehensive package of information about the scope the company’s activities.

Aliabadi expressed gratitude to Ambassador Ahriz for his visit and said the company would welcome cooperation with Algeria in different areas such as construction of electricity power plants, training Algerian electricity engineering human resources by the group, and establishing a MAPNA branch in Algeria, and participation in the country’s oil and gas, electricity, and railroad projects.
