Algeria and Sudan Pledge Cooperation

Algeria and Sudan have agreed to cooperate in areas of oil, gas, training, and scientific research. Sudan’s Minister of Oil and Gas, Dr Mohammed Zayed, revealed the cooperation during meeting his Algerian counterpart on the sidelines of the Al-Bashir-Boutaflika Summit.

Zayed also said the he had forwarded a “number of blocks in domains of oil, gas and development of fields, besides cooperation in areas of training and scientific research, studies, and laboratories”.

Sudan is looking to benefit from Algeria’s expertise in the oil and gas industry.
