2015 was a lackluster year for oil and gas exports out of Algeria as the country saw lower production rates and increased domestic production stymied any growth in the nation. Algeria saw total energy sales reached 100 million tons of oil equivalent, the same as in 2014.
Crude oil and condensate production fell 2.8% to 58.9 million tons of oil equivalent, while natural gas output dropped 1% to 82.5 Bcm, according to government data. On the processed end LNG was down 7.6% and refined oil products output dropped 4.6%.
