Algeria saw its production rise in Q1 2017 compared with the same period in 2016. Crude oil and natural gas production rose 3.6% in the first three months compared with the same period in the previous year, according to the country’s National Statistics Office (ONS).
The country plans to raise its production even more to offset the lower price it is getting per barrel.
Algeria’s overall production rose 2.5% with refined oil products output rising 2.3%. To offset the increase in overall production totals the Algeria saw its LNG production fall 2.2%.
