Angola’s LNG plant, ALNG, could see resumption of production before the end of 2015 if repairs are completed according to the country’s state media.
The facility has been shut in for over a year following a major rupture on a flare line that triggered the facility-wide shutdown. The facility had only been up and running for less than a year when the shutdown occurred. The plant needed major reconstruction to fix design flaws and corrosion of almost new equipment.
