Anadarko Increases Algerian Output Numbers

Anadarko saw its oils sales volume out of Algeria for Q4 2013 increase by 15,000 bpd over 2012 numbers for the same period. The company’s numbers for Q4 came in at 62,000 bpd, compared to 47,000 bpd for Q4 2012.

Anadarko ramped up oil production at El Merk over the period on its first two trains and commenced condensate and NGL production during the quarter. Final commissioning of the NGLs extraction train was ongoing and was slated for completion in Q1.

It also saw 10 development wells drilled in the North African country and expects to see an additional 10-12 drilled this year.
