A MoU for the cooperation in the oil and gas sector was signed between Angola and its neighbor to the south Namibia. The signing took place on June 25 between Anogla’s Oil Minister José Maria Botelho de Vasconcelos and Namibian Minister of Mining and Energy, Isak Katali in Namibia.
The MoU is aimed at establishing an institutional framework between the two countries allowing for the facilitation of bilateral cooperation in the oil and natural gas sector. The document will go into force from the signing day and is valid for three years.
