Angola LNG should resume production by July, according to the country’s oil minister, Botelho de Vasconcelos. The facility’s production has been suspended since H1 2014 due to a failure in one of the pipelines in the gas flaring system.
The facility was expected to resume production by Q4 2015; however the project, since its inception, has been plagued by delays and cost over runs.
The facility is operated by Chevron, Sonangol, BP Exploration, ENI, and Total.
