Angola Says Get Your Bids Ready

The tender process for 10 new blocks in Angola’s Congo and Kwanza Basins will be put up for auction starting May 30, according to the nation’s state-run oil and gas firm Sonangol.

Firms interested in taking part in the tender must submit documentation on their business structures, activities and finances by April 30 to enter the pre-qualifying stage.

All 10 of the blocks are located onshore as the government looks to develop its onshore potential. Seven of the new blocks are in the Kwanza Basin and three are in the Congo Basin.
