The African Union (AU) has elected Chad’s foreign minister, Moussa Faki, as its next chairman of the AU Commission (AUC).
Faki beat out Amina Mohamed, Kenya’s foreign minister in the last round of voting by the 54-nation body for the position as AUC chairman.
