Bids for Morocco’s Gharb Center Due in August

Companies interested in exploring Morocco’s Gharb Center area of the greater Gharb Basin should begin preparing their bids. According to ONHYM, its data room will open July 1 through July 29, and the bids will be opened on August 25.

The tender includes 1,362 sq km of acreage, excluding three zones where ONHYM fields and infrastructure exist.

The area has seen a number of wells drilled, including Gulfsands’ Dardara Southeast 1 well in January 2015. The well was tested at an average of 7.1 Mmcf/d of natural gas.
