The Bonatti Group won an award for its work on ENI’s Zohr gas field located offshore Egypt in the Mediterranean. The company was awarded an electrical and instrumentation contract for the development project.
The scope of the work under the contract is focused on the onshore area and includes the key services, materials and equipment required for the safe installation of the project’s onshore electrical, cable, instrumentation, telecommunication and fire and gas equipment.
This contract follows another awarded by Bechtel to Bonatti’s subsidiary Carlo Gavazzi Egypt in July, and confirms the capabilities and the strategic role of the company in the North Africa region. Bonatti Group has a longstanding presence in Egypt, with a qualified network of manpower (99% Egyptian nationality) that has worked on projects in the country for decades.
