Bonga Shut In for Maintenance

Shell has halted production at its Bonga deepwater oil field offshore Nigeria to conduct turnaround maintenance.

The field is expected to be shut in for at least a month.

No exports from the field, which produces on average around 200,000 bpd, for the month of March are expected.
