Bowleven was awarded a one-year extension to its existing Bomono exploration license, onshore Cameroon. The extension is pending the final award of an Exploitation Authorization (EA).
The Bomono Exploitation Authorization Application (BEAA) was submitted to the Cameroon authorities prior to the formal expiry of the exploration license in mid-December to enable the progression of development activities.
The interim extension award ensures that Bowleven’s interest in the acreage is maintained while discussions over the BEAA with Cameroon authorities continue.
