Cameroon saw an increase in its oil production between January and April. The country saw a rise of 19.4% compared to the same period in 2014, according to state-run oil company SNH.
While the country saw an increase in oil production for the period its gas production dropped. SNH said gas production fell 5.8%, due to a decline in demand for gas from its Kribi gas plant.
The state firm also revealed it had begun field work on its FLNG project, an export plant which is being developed by Norwegian shipping company Golar LNG and is due to start production in 2017.
