MOC – Offshore Mediterranean Offshore Conference, 15-17 October, Alexandria, EGYPT has reached its 10th edition celebrating this year two decades of success as the premier offshore conference and exhibition hosted by the Egyptian Petroleum Sector. In all these years, MOC has grown, year after year and has become one of the most important events in the Mediterranean region.
This year’s conference, revolving around EGYPT: Connecting the two shores of the Mediterranean strives to inspire future leaders to grow our industry and to reinvent the sector addressing the most significant challenges that the oil and gas professionals are facing today.
Since our last edition in 2018, the energy industry has changed and continues to transition, and continues to lead the way in investments and technologies focused on achieving a low carbon future. There is much work still to be done, but MOC will offer, this year, a tremendous opportunity to gather, discuss and debate strategies and scenarios for the new solutions and the latest technologies in order to enable the transition bridging the two shores of the Mediterranean.
The Government of Egypt continues to demonstrate a very strong commitment to embrace new and emerging analytical fields providing the Oil and Gas industry with groundbreaking methods evolving in this way, the needs of future generations.
It is very important to recognise the ongoing support we receive from industry professionals and the companies that set the standards such as Eni, BP, Shell, Edison, ENPPI, Petrojet, Wintershall Dea, Halliburton, Gasco…just to name a few. Their vision of prosperous future for our industry is crucial for keeping costs low while raising the level of operational excellence. Now more than ever is important that we move towards a lower carbon world as part of energy transition and to contribution to this common objective.
Bringing under its umbrella the biggest names in the oil and natural gas industry, the decision makers and the biggest national and foreign companies operating in region, MOC gathered this year a large number of specialised companies in providing support services making the event one of the most complete and successful in the region.
MOC will offer a unique opportunity to participants to exchange and take a look at previous experiences in addition to showcasing the latest international technologies and benefiting from them in regard to studying the probability of implementation, timing and most suitable places, especially in the sector of exploration.
