Chariot Oil & Gas reported that the 3D survey it contracted to be acquired off the coast of Morocco is now complete. The survey covered 1,700 sq km; the survey, encompassed around 1,075 sq km in Rabat Deep, about 250 sq km in the Loukos Offshore, and about 375 sq km in the Mohammedia Reconnaissance License.
The survey will enable the company to mature drillable prospects in the Mio-Pliocene and Jurassic plays identified within this region on reprocessed legacy 2D data. Following processing, Chariot will interpret this new data which is expected to be completed by year end 2014, with a resource update to be published thereafter.
