Chariot Completes Namibia Shoot

Chariot Oil &Gas completed its 2D seismic program off the coast of Namibia. The survey was launched in February over the company’s Central Blocks 2312 and 2412A.

SeaBird Exploration carried out the work, consisting of 1,700 line km of data acquired to infill an existing grid. Along with previously obtained seismic data on the block, it will be interpreted in-house with the aim of identifying specific areas of interest for a 3D program.

Chariot’s partners are AziNam, which holds 20%, NAMCOR, which has a 10% carried interest, and Ignitus with a 5% carried stake.
