Clontarf Accepts Tano Basin Coordinates

Wednesday, September 21, 2016

Clontarf Energy and its partners in Ghana have been offered revised Tano Basin acreage coordinates by Ghanaian officials, which the company has accepted in principle. Negotiations to formalize a revised Petroleum Agreement between the company and Ghanaian officials will continue as agreement has yet to be reached on certain matters.

The company further reported that it has raised £400,000 (before expenses) via the placing of 80,000,000 ordinary shares with new and existing investors at a price of 0.5p per Placing Share. The Placing Shares represent approximately 14.97% of Clontarf’s issued share capital as enlarged by the Placing.

The net proceeds of the Placing will fund any costs associated with the ongoing negotiations regarding the Ghanaian assets and will also provide the company with additional working capital, as the board continues to assess new projects in areas which may become available for exploration.
