Cooper Exits Nabeul Permit

Cooper Energy released the terms of its exit from the Nabeul Permit offshore Tunisia.

The terms agreed to with the government of Tunisia have the JV agreeing to pay compensation of $3.2 million, with Cooper’s share being $2.7 million, to fulfil its remaining permit obligations that previously included drilling a commitment well.

Cooper Energy’s $2.7-million share of this compensation had been previously fully provided for through a provision in the company’s financial statements at December 31, 2015.
