Moving toward the development of the gas resources discovered off the coast of Mozambique, the partners on Offshore Area 4 led by ENI, have awarded the TJS consortium the EPCIC and start-up contract for the Coral South development’s FLNG facility. The TJS consortium is led by TechnipFMC, along with JGC Corp. and Samsumg Heavy Industries.
The contract includes the associated risers and subsea flowlines system, as well as the installation of the umbilicals and subsea equipment.
The Coral South FLNG facility will be designed to produce close to 3.4 Mtpa of LNG and will be moored in 2,000 meters of water depth.
