Craig International (West Africa) Ltd. has opened its new warehouse in Takoradi, Ghana. Located near the Takoradi Airport, the warehouse is 1,000 square meters and offers a quick and efficient procurement service to Craig’s clients in the oil, gas, and mining industries.
With two offices already established in Accra and Takoradi earlier this year, the warehouse has been added to offer the company’s clients a vast array of on-the-ground stock ranging from PPE, tools and lubricants to welding, consumables and lifting equipment including high usage MRO products.
The company’s base in Ghana also serves as a hub for West Africa enabling it to support clients in Nigeria, Cameroon, and Cote d’Ivoire.
Steve McHardy, joint MD of CIS Ltd, said: “The decision to establish a presence in West Africa is in line with our strategic expansion and growth plan. We feel this market offers enormous market potential for procurement services in the face of a rapidly expanding energy market.”

The company also plans to open a base in Mozambique in the future which will allow it to take advantage of the current boom in oil and gas exploration.
