Crude Leaves Hariga Port

Libya’s national oil company, NOC, saw a shipment of 660,000 barrels of oil leave from its finally reopened Hariga port according to a statement on NOC’s website.

Libya’s NOC and the eastern government’s oil company signed a MoU for the unification of the oil sector and presented it to the Unity government.  In addition the pair agreed to resume crude oil shipments from Hariga to avoid damage to pipelines, avert a financial crisis, and ensure power supplies are not interrupted further.
