Daesh Claims Responsibility for Kenya Attack

According to Daesh’s (ISIS) news agency it is responsible for the recent attack on Kenyan police officers in Nairobi outside the US embassy. The Amaq news agency said, “The person who carried out the stabbing of a guard outside the American embassy in Nairobi last Thursday was a soldier of Islamic State responding to calls to target coalition countries.”

The attack on the police outside the US embassy was carried out by a knife-wielding follower of Daesh. He was shot dead after he attacked the Kenyan police. The man whom police described as a criminal was shot dead outside the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi last Thursday after he attacked and injured a Kenyan police officer.

The militant group previously claimed responsibility for an attack on Kenya in September by three women who were shot dead after they tricked their way into a police station in Mombasa and tried to torch the building.
