Dana Gas Egypt revealed that it will focus on increasing its throughput at its El Wastani plant over 2015. The company is looking to up capacity at the plant to 250 Mmcf/d and complete the tie-in from the Balsam field.
In order to achieve its goals the company has an extremely active development plan laid out, consisting of a three-rig drilling program that will continue for the rest of the year.
The company’s seismic program and the drilling of one well on the North Al Arish concession, awarded in early-2014, has commenced.
Dana said that Egypt remains a core area of its growth strategy and, through new investments, it plans to increase production and exploration activity in the country.
