An explosion at a major petrochemical plant in Mexico owned by state-run Pemex killed 13. The explosion sent a huge, dark plume of smoke billowing upwards just after 3 p.m on April 20 at the facility’s chlorinate 3 plant in the Gulf state of Veracruz.
At last count 136 people were injured and it is possible that the death toll could rise according to PEMEX officials.
