Death Toll from Suicide Bombing in Cameroon Rises

The death toll from the double suicide bombing in Cameroon has climbed to 19 according to reports. On September 3 the northern Cameroonian town of Kerawa was hit by two suicide bombs, leaving 19 dead and 143 wounded at last count.

One of the bombs went off near an army camp and the other at a market. It is believed that the attacks were instigated by Nigerian Islamist group Boko Haram.

Cameroon is part of a joint task force fighting the Boko Haram.
