PA Resources will see some its production out of Africa take a hit when the Didon field undergoes some work. The company said that in Q3 the field will see recertification and upgrade work done to its FSO.
The Didon FSO vessel was due to stop work July 1 and is expected to restart mid-September after the work is complete. PA Resources expects to see an increase in production flows for Q4 as a result.
“This maintenance related production shortfall in Q3 is expected to be partly compensated by higher production in Q4,” PA said in a statement.
The company said it saw production rates of 4,800 bpd in Q2 from its North and West African assets.
