Wentworth Resources in its Q3 results said that discussions are ongoing with Mozambique’s ENH over the assignment of its former partners’ stakes in the Rovuma Onshore Block concession.
Besides the appointment of an operator for the concession, Wentworth and ENH are determining the appraisal acreage for the Tembo-1 discovery and agreeing to a multi-year appraisal plan.
In July the company provided formal notification to the Mozambique government of its intention to proceed with an appraisal of the gas discovery in the Tembo-1 well. With the exception of ENH, all other parties to the Rovuma Onshore Block Concession relinquished their participation interest at the end of August.
Wentworth’s former partners were Anadarko Petroleum (former operator), Maurel et Prom, and PTTEP.
