DNO has commenced drilling the Jawhara-3 well on Tunisia’s Sfax Offshore Exploration Permit. The well is the first of several exploration and appraisal wells planned in the permit.
The Jawhara-3 will be drilled to the north of the original Jawhara discovery which flowed at a rate of 1,500 bpd. The Jawhara will test the Douleb and Bireno reservoirs in the up dip Jawhara structure. A second exploration well will follow in H1 2015.
