Sonatrach has awarded the Dodsal Group a $1.1-billion project for the construction of a new gas-oil separation plant. Under the contract award, Dodsal will provide the EPC work for the separation and compression center.
The new gas-oil separation plant is to be located at the South HGA-HassiMessaoud field. Dodsal’s work will begin shortly and should be completed by 2020. Once finished, the plant will be able to process 60,000 bpd from the field.
Dodsal’s president and chairman, RajenKilachand, said: “This order further strengthens our long-term relationship with Sonatrachand also reinforces our presence in Algeria, which is a strategic market for Dodsal.We are proud to continue our association with Sonatrach and are looking forward to working closely with them to successfully deliver this project.”
