The Senegalese Ministry of Oil has awarded Doris Engineering, a specialist in the engineering of large oil and gas projects, a consulting and supervision contract for the development of its oil and gas projects at Grand Tortue Ahmeyim and SNE.

The two-year agreement will see Doris review the optimization and quality of the work done to date on these projects, ensuring they are in line with departmental expectations.

In addition, the firm will train Senegalese engineers on deepwater developments, in the oil and gas sector and on DORIS methods and tools.

“This contract is the recognition by the Senegalese government of DORIS expertise in deepwater projects, including LNG, oil and natural gas extraction,” said Nicolas Parsloe (photo), CEO of DORIS Group.

Senegal is expected to start producing oil and gas starting in 2022.
