DualEx Energy International has set casing on its latest well in Tunisia. The company said that the 8-5/8″ casing was set to a depth of 1,984 meters on the BHN-1 exploration well on the Bouhajla Permit. Drilling of the 8-½” main hole to the projected total depth of 2,545 meters will commence shortly.
The BHN-1 well was spud on June 8 and is the first exploration well on the Bouhajla Permit. It is being drilled to evaluate a Cretaceous Abiod oil target on the Bouhajla North Prospect. The well is expected to take four to six weeks from spud to reach total depth.
