Egypt’s two largest cities, Cairo and Alexandria, saw violence on April 5 that left one dead and seven wounded. There was a bombing in Cairo and gunmen attacked a church in Alexandria.
A bomb explosion on the 15h of May bridge, which leads to the upscale neighborhood of Zamalek, left one policeman dead and three others wounded.
On Egypt’s Mediterranean coast in Alexandria, militants in a micro bus shot at the Church of the Angel Rafael, wounding one police officer and three civilians before fleeing.
