Egypt Expects World Bank and AfDB Loans by Year-end

The World Bank and the AfDB are expected to give Egypt loans in the combined amount of $1.5 billion to help boost its foreign currency reserves and its flailing economy.

The country’s new prime minister, Sherif Ismail, said that the loans should be received before the end of 2015 according to a Reuters report.
