Egypt Plans to Offer Additional Med Sea Acreage

Egypt plans to offer up an additional acreage for oil and gas exploration according to the country’s petroleum minister, Tarek El Molla. The minister said that up to 11 blocks in the Mediterranean will be put on offer.

Egypt also aims to auction oil and gas drilling in the Red Sea by the end of 2018, El Molla said to the Mediterranean Offshore Conference being held in Egypt’s coastal city Alexandria.
