Egypt to Host Parliamentary Elections in October

Parliamentary elections in Egypt will be held in Q4 of this year. The elections will be held in two phases, the first taking place October 18 and 19.

The second phase of voting will take place on Nov. 22-23, the election commission told a news conference.

The parliamentary elections are a long time in coming as the country has been without a parliament since mid-2012, when it was dissolved by the court.
