Egypt’s Gas Regulations Due Out

Egypt’s natural gas sector should see new regulations soon. According to the country’s Minister of Petroleum, Tarek El Molla, the executive regulations of the new Gas Market Law will be issued ‘in weeks’.

El Molla revealed the news during the first Al-Ahram Energy Conference.

Appointments to the executive board of the Natural Gas Market Regulatory Authority, which will be established under the law, is currently being finalized, the Minister said.
