Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Egypt’s president, saw his new cabinet sworn in on September 19. Sisi kept the finance, investment, and interior ministers from the old government according to a state media report.
Sisi named former head of the state oil company Tarek al-Mullah as petroleum minister. Mullah succeeds Sherif Ismail, who became prime minister.
