Egypt’s Tao Field Production Expected in June

Egypt Kuwait Holding’s (EKH) Tao field in Egypt’s offshore North Sinai, is expected to begin operating next month. The company forecasts that the full impact of the drilling campaign is to hit their income statement during H1 of 2020, it said in a statement.

In addition, the company is working on a development plan for the deep reservoirs but will continue advancing a detailed production plan for the shallower reservoirs in the meantime, including the Kamose field. The plan includes drilling four new wells as well as installing one platform that is connected to an existing pipeline.
