Two of Libya’s major oil producing fields, the El Feel and Wafa, in the southwestern region of the country are still seeing crude flows. The fields had seen some issue with power.
Reports that the fields are working normally comes as good news since state-run NOC declared force majeure during the first week of March on the production from 11 of its oil fields.
Another positive reported for Libya comes from one of its largest producers, ENI. The firm’s head, Claudio Descalzi, said during a conference call regarding its 2015-2018 business plan that its production in Libya was going well.
“Operationally the situation is OK,”Descalzi said. He said production at the moment was above 270,000 bpd.
