According to Libya’s state-run oil and gas firm, NOC, it has yet to see production flow from its El Sharara oil field. NOC spokesman, Mohamed El Harari said that the oil field was still shut-in due to protesters at a connecting pipeline.
The country’s output currently sits at 326,000 bpd.
As for exports El Harari said that it was too soon to say when the first tanker would dock at the eastern ports of Ras Lanuf and Es Sider to load oil from storage. Rebels who held the ports released the terminals into government hands last week.
