EMAS Offshore secured additional options for extension on an existing contract, as well as new awards for charters with an oil major and independent oil company in West Africa and Asia valued at more than $33 million (including options).
In West Africa, EMAS Offshore’s PSV will be providing sea transportation services for an oil major. Neither the name of the oil major nor the amount of the contract was revealed by EMAS.
In Asia the charter is for the provision of one AHTS and the scope of work includes transportation of personnel, materials and supplies and to provide storage for materials and supplies.
Captain Adarash Kumar, EMAS Offshore’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “We continue to focus our efforts in West Africa, where we have sustained our win momentum whilst building our track record and growth across Asia.
“Our strategy to focus our bidding activities in West Africa will allow us to increase penetration in this market whilst maintaining dominance in Asia amidst this muted oil and gas environment.”
