The Egyptian Maintenance Company (EMC) secured a number of jobs across the Middle East and Africa regions. The contracts are for the maintenance of oil and electricity projects in Oman, Algeria, and Angola. There was also a contract that has EMC increasing its activities in Iraq.
Mohammed Abdel Hafez, EMC’s Chairman and MD said during the company’s general assembly meeting that the company renewed its contracts for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of Zubair Power Plant, adding that the company has also won a contract for the maintenance of unloading stations and primary production facilities for the Italian company ENI. ENI recently brought additional processing plants at Zubair online.
In Angola EMC was awarded a contract to provide technical support for the maintenance of the Angola LNG facility and in Algeria Sonatrach awarded the company a contract for the management and operation of specialized maintenance programs.
