EMGS has signed an $8 million contract with Maersk Oil for a 3D EM survey over Angola’s Lower Congo basin.
The EM Leader will mobilize to the area before the survey gets underway sometime later this month, the company said in a statement.
Maersk Oil holds stakes in a trio of blocks offshore Angola where it has made three discoveries.
