Energean to Launch Seismic on West Kom Ombo

Energean Oil & Gas has recruited AGS-Afro to conduct a 2D seismic survey in the West Kom Ombo concession area in Egypt. The contract is part of the company’s new $6-million investment program in Egypt.

The survey will start in December and around 250 miles of 2D seismic will be acquired ahead of the drilling of two new wells which have been planned for the summer of 2016.

Energean Oil & Gas is the operator and holds a 60 percent interest in the West Kom Ombo exploration and exploitation license.
