ENI acquired majority stakes in two exploration blocks offshore Cote d’Ivoire, approximately 50 km off the coast.The two deep offshore blocks, CI-101 and CI-205, lie in the eastern portion of the Tano basin.
Block CI-101 is in water depths of between 200 and 2,500 meters, while block CI-205 is in water depths of between 2,000 and 2,700 meters.
ENI will operate and hold a 90% stake in both blocks, while the state-owned company Petroci holds the remaining 10% in both blocks.
